What a year 2008 was for us! We had many experiences...some new....some we have had before...and some we wish we hadn't had. But for all....we are very grateful!
(Disclaimer.....LOTS of pictures)
We traveled....
*The Farmer in Italy
*The Fam. in Mazatlan
*We played some football, some basketball and a little track
*We sent a missionary off to Boston, MA (Auntie Beth)
*We were blessed... that The Boy's life was spared....
*We have a constant reminder of a sweet friend who did not survive
*We celebrated 20 years of shear wedded bliss!
*We set some goals.....and saw them achieved
*goals we thought we would NEVER make;)
*We farmed and enjoyed those experiences....well...most of the time
*And with a little luck....and alot of faith...we begin 2009 and know that we will,
"Come what may....and love it!"

it has been quite a year for your family. isn't it great to reflect, though?
....and i'm a blogger who loves lots of pictures- so keep em comin'
oh, and not sure if i answered you - but it is a BIG FAT - YES- on getting together with you and the farmer when you are in town.
yes, yes, yes!
glad you're back.
now, can you help me stop?
Shelley--When I looked at your blog I had to keep reading and reading--your family is beautiful and I hope all is going well. I have to admit--I was very hungry after looking at all the great food and it brought back memories of our "fun" gourmet cooking class at MCC. I can't believe that was so long ago. Are we really old enough to be married TWENTY YEARS?!
Ours is coming up in February.
Life is full of challenges and it seems like we go through a lot--but I also realize how much we are blessed and I feel lucky! Keep in touch--LaNae
I am LOVING the photos...you must have gotten a new camera or something.
You need to post your beautiful photography more often...or whoever's photography it is.
And, I am so happy you summarized your year with photos....so much easier on the eyes than reading five pages.
