So, after the great bee adventure, Rooster and I celebrated with a "Chocolate Chip Cherry Garcia Ice Cream Sandwich." Yummy! We have had more fun finding uses for cherries this year. Go HERE for the recipe for Homemade Cherry Garcia ice cream, it is wonderful. I added 1 t. of cherry extract and semi-sweet chips which for me put it over the top. We had made cookies earlier that day and the combo of the ice cream and the cookies was perfection!

You definitely deserve those tasty treats after your bee fiasco! (I love your willow tree) Your ice cream sandwich looks unbelievable and I am in awe that you made the cookies and the ice cream!
