We love Tae Kwon Do! The Boy is a black belt and Little Rooster is very close to getting his. We are very excited to watch the Olympic Tae Kwon Do team in the next couple of weeks.
The most impressive thing about the team is that 3 siblings will be competing, with their older brother as their coach, they are the Lopez family from Texas. Steven Lopez (above) is favored to win the gold in his class, he is amazing to watch.
It will be fun to watch all of the athletes who have worked so hard to prepare for these games. Can't wait to watch!

Wow! Black belts? How utterly impressive!! I am about to embarrass myself but....I didn't even know Tae Kwon Do was part of the Olympics!! We are going to check it out!
why did i not know about this sport being in the olympics? where have i been. TJ will dig this for sure! Hey, our boys should spar sometime...we could do the whole, "my boy can beat your boy up" routine...hehe

You know we love tae kwon doe too!! We actually got to see Stephen Lopez at the nationals in florida when jared went. I didn't know he has brother's fighting too. Can't wait! What age did you start your boys in tae kwon doe
